FEDs Acquired Hushmail Emails
November 11th, 2007 -

Not that I’m against the move besides this was within the bounds of law.
But this should be an utter reminder to individuals and groups operating under repressive governments, as much as possible, to avoid network that’s centralized by nature. Part and parcel of that is email. If avoiding centralized networks is futile then encrypt emails using PGP and for instant messenger users, fortunately there’s OTR. OTR is really impressive and have the right things for secured communications. I do suggest using Pidgin and my favorite Miranda. Both a multi-network instant messenger clients whereby can be use with your ym,msn, aol, etc. accounts and with its own respective OTR plugin version.
PGP have its version for Voice communication (VOIP), the Zfone.
